Blue Ridge Medical Center is located at 4038 Thomas Nelson Highway, Arrington, Virginia 22922 (directly across from the Colleen Deli on Route 29). Phone: 434-263-4000, Fax 434-263-4160. Hours of operation for both the Medical Center and the Pharmacy are Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM and Saturday 8:30 - noon. Doctor on call 24/7.
The operations of the medical center are overseen by a Board of Directors.
The center is a “Federally Qualified Health Center” (FQHC), and as such
Board composition must be reflective of the population served and more
than half of the members must receive their care at the Center. All serve in
a volunteer capacity and reside in the area.
BRMC is among the 10% of primary health care organizations in the U.S.
that are accredited by The Joint Commission, which regularly performs
unannounced reviews of our compliance with the highest standards of care.
BRMC also reports to the Bureau of Primary Care several times annually
and undergoes their comprehensive performance review every three years.
Many insurance companies (we participate with over 300) conduct reviews
of our care, record keeping and charges.
