Our Mission is to provide quality health care accessible to all people of Nelson County and neighboring communities; and to improve their general health and well-being through prevention, education, and treatment.
Our Vision is that Blue Ridge Medical Center is a vital, vibrant health center which is recognized as the preferred provider of primary health care for people in the community and which accomplishes access to primary care and equalizes disparities in health outcomes for all people of our service area.

BRMC is a "Federally Qualified Health Center". Its operations are overseen by a volunteer Board of Directors made up of community members, most of whom are patients at the center.
BRMC is accredited by The Joint Commission. A team of healthcare professionals performs the survey of our site about every three years. This is the same organization that accredits hospitals. Less than 10% of primary care organizations in the United States have achieved this accreditation.
BRMC is located at 4038 Thomas Nelson Highway, Arrington, Virginia 22922 (directly across from the Colleen Deli.). Our main phone number is 434-263-4000; fax 434-263-4160. The Medical Center and Pharmacy hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM and Saturday from 8:30 AM to noon.
